
The Student Council at St. Benedict School made scripture come alive by visiting all the classrooms and reading and acting out passages of scripture leading to Jesus’ birth. The students actively displayed their faith and showed great leadership.

During anti-bullying week, students at St. Edmund Campion S.S. were invited to take a photo with a positive message saying, “Hello my name is…loved, beautiful, worth it, etc.”

John Cabot C.S.S. English Language Learners take part in after-school cooking classes hosted by the Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre. Students learn how to make healthy choices when shopping and selecting recipes, then work as a team to create a meal.

On December 6, St. Francis Xavier Secondary School hosted a Boys to Men’s Night-In event, which focused on the theme of Welcoming & Belonging.

Students in the Planning for Independence class at John Cabot C.S.S. help run the school’s Grab and Go Snack Program providing nutritious snacks to students each morning.

On November 14, students from St. Marcellinus Secondary School put faith into action spending the day at GLOBALMEDIC Toronto packing Emergency Family kits for the people of Yemen

Students from the Chaplaincy Club at Loyola C.S.S. went on a pilgrimage to Guelph, which included a walk through the Old Growth Forest project operated by the Ignatius Jesuit Centre, and then a tour of the beautiful Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate.

The Philip Pocock Catholic Secondary School Communication students attended The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Students had the unique opportunity to take part in a special behind the scenes experience, interacting with Ontario farmers and their animals.

Students at Father Francis McSpiritt collected over 800 kgs of clothing for the school’s Bag2School Collection initiative.

Our Lady of Good Voyage School participated in the City of Mississauga’s Remember 11-11 Project. Students made poppies out of wildflower seed balls that were then placed in natural areas around Mississauga.

On November 6, DPCDSB hosted a group of Grade 9 students taking part in Take Our Kids to Work Day at the Catholic Education Centre and Keaton Centre.
