summer-school-orientation
There are two mandatory components to this section (1) the summer eLearning orientation session and (2) the orientation module.
1) Summer eLearning Orientation Session
There is a mandatory one-hour orientation session prior to the start of the eLearning Summer School program. Parents/Guardians are welcome to attend this evening session. This may be the only opportunity for students to meet with a curriculum teacher face-to-face. Students must arrange for their own transportation to this orientation session. At that time, students will meet their teacher and be given their username and temporary password to their course.
The purpose of this orientation session is to:
• meet a curriculum teacher delivering the eLearning course;
• distribute usernames and passwords to students;
• demonstration on how to access the orientation module (see below);
• discuss the Code of Conduct for eLearning;
• (if applicable) provide your IEP to your online teacher.
For convenience, students can choose EITHER date to attend the orientation session. Sessions are also running concurrently at two locations on each night. See below.
Dates: Tuesday June 27 OR Wednesday June 28
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Duration: 1 hour
Locations: St. Francis Xavier S.S. (Map) or St. Edmund Campion S.S. (Map)
