Dufferin-Peel Catholic Secondary Schools to hold VIRTUAL Information Sessions for Grade 8 students and parents
The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB) will hold a series of virtual information sessions for Grade 8 students and their parents/guardians interested in enrolling in a DPCDSB secondary school for the 2021-22 school year. The information sessions will provide parents and guardians with an overview of the programs and services offered at Dufferin-Peel Catholic secondary schools and will provide Grade 8 students with an opportunity to take a virtual tour of the school and hear from current students about the transition into high school.
Currently, DPCDSB operates 26 Catholic secondary schools in Mississauga, Brampton, Bolton and Caledon. These schools continue to be recognized among the top performing schools in the province each year. With over 46 Specialist High Skills Major programs, three regional Arts programs, one regional Sports program, three International Baccalaureate programmes, two regional Advanced Placement programs, Extended French and French Immersion programs, and the only publicly funded All-Girls secondary school in the region, DPCDSB schools offer students a variety of learning options to suit individual education goals.
DPCDSB secondary school information sessions will be posted throughout November and December. A schedule of the Secondary School Information Sessions with links is available on the DPCDSB website. For more information about the information sessions, parents/guardians should contact their local school directly.
