October 6, 2019 -  COMMUNITY INFORMATION BULLETIN: LABOUR RELATIONS UPDATE #6

Dear Parents and Guardians:

We are pleased to report that a settlement has been reached with CUPE education workers.  As a result, all DPCDSB schools will be open as usual tomorrow morning (Monday, October 7)

All before and after school programs operating in DPCDSB schools as well as all CHILD care centres operating in DPCDSB schools will be open as usual.

Check the DPCDSB website (www.dpcdsb.org) as well as the board's Twitter feed (@DPCDSBSchools) for additional information, which will posted on an ongoing basis.

We understand the anxiety experienced by parents/guardians, families and staff alike during the past few days and thank you all for your patience and understanding as we move forward as a Catholic community.

October 2, 2019 - CUPE has given notice that it will initiate a Full Withdrawal of Services effective Monday, October 7. DPCDSB is reviewing the impact of this action on school operations and the options available. While it is our hope that we are able to keep schools open, there is a possibility that we may have to close schools in the interest of student and staff safety, security and well-being. In this regard, we will continue to provide updates through this website, Twitter (@DPCDSBSchools) and through our school communication channels. Please note the following important information that affects the DPCDSB community.

September 30, 2019 - CUPE initiated Job Action at the DPCDSB, specifically Partial Withdrawal of Services and Work to Rule.

All Permits for Community Groups Cancelled for Week of September 30-October 6
