School History
Celebrating 20 years of Catholic Education!
St. Therese opened in 1996 and was blessed on May 8, 1997 with Fr. Felix Prior O. Carm., pastor of St. John of the Cross Parish, officiating. The school has approximately 600 students.
St. Therese of the Child Jesus strives to live up to the philosophy of St. Therese who believed that what matters is "not great deeds, but great love". Before her death, Therese, a Carmelite in the 19th-century France said, "My mission is to make God loved and it will begin after my death. I will spend my heaven doing good on earth. I will let fall a shower of roses." Throughout the school are pictures and symbols of roses as well as many rose bushes in the gardens.
