Welcome to St. Raymond

Mission Statement

We the staff of St. Raymond School believe our vocation is to help create the future through teaching in our classrooms.  Children learn best in an environment that has high expectations combined with caring and compassionate support.  Our Christian and moral obligation is to excel in all that we do.  As a professional learning community we welcome opportunities for growth that benefit our students and ourselves.

School Hours

8:15 a.m. – Yard Supervision
8:30 a.m. – Entry
10:10 a.m. -  Nutritional Break
10:30 a.m. - Recess
10:55 a.m. -  Class
12:35 p.m. - Lunch
12:55 p.m.  - Recess
1:20 p.m. - Class
3:00 p.m. – Dismissal

Please note that supervision in the playground begins at 8:15 a.m.

Please do not leave your children unattended in the school grounds before the teacher supervision begins.

 

 

2022-2023 School Registration

Kindergarten registration for the 2022-23 school year at Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB) schools will take place in  January 2022. Parents/guardians have the option to register online at www.dpcdsb.org or in-person at their designated Catholic school. The online Application Form should be completed prior to in-person school meetings where documentation will be received. If parents/guardians wish to register in-person, they may do so during school hours by appointment only.  More information will be sent to parents and posted on the school website once specific registration dates for 2022-2023 have been decided.

The following documents are required for registration:

  • Registration Form
  • Proof of age of the child 
    Birth certificate or passport.
  • Original Roman Catholic baptismal certificate     
    For child and/or parent/guardian. Includes baptismal certificates from a church in full communion with the Holy See of Rome. If the child has not been baptized, and the parent/guardian is a baptized Roman Catholic or has been baptized in a church in full communion with the Holy See of Rome, the parent/guardian must bring their original baptismal certificate.
  • Updated immunization records  
    Immunization Card, Peel Health Form or Letter of Exemption.
  • Proof of Canadian citizenship  
    Birth certificate, passport or permanent resident status.
  • Proof of home address   
    Two of the following: property tax bill, current utility bill, real estate document or Government of Canada issued forms. On a case-by-case basis, consideration for any special circumstance shall go through the respective Superintendent or Admissions Officer.  If the lease agreement is the sole documentation and not a standard lease form, it should be notarized/Commissioner of Oath.
  • Emergency rural address numbers   
    For identifying your property, if applicable.
  • Proof of English Separate School Support   
    May be done at the time of registration by completing an Application for the Direction of School Support and/or a Separate School Lease Agreement (Peel or Dufferin).
