Our school prayer, "The Prayer of Philip Pocock" is based on the words of Archbishop Pocock's speech at the blessing of our school when it first opened in 1981. We recite the prayer together as a school community every Friday morning as well as at major celebrations and events.
The Prayer of Philip Pocock
Let this be a school with Spirit.
Let this be a school in love – in love with each other, in love with its community and in love with God so much that it hurts a little.
Let this be a community of learning, living and service to others in which God, His truth and His life shine into every office, classroom and hallway.
For the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Love, is alive in us and at work in us.
Let this be a truly Catholic school.
Let this be a school with Spirit.
