St. Michael Catholic Secondary School opened in September 2010 with 600 grade 9 and 10 students. The school is named after St. Michael the Archangel who has four main responsibilities: to combat Satan, escort the faithful to heaven at their hour of death, champion all Christians and the Church itself, and call men from their life on earth to their heavenly judgement.
Like its namesake, St. Michael strives to reinforce Catholic values. We pride ourselves on our strong connection to the community, and attempt to foster a love of learning, leadership and faith formation. Our ties to the community include volunteer work with senior citizens, food banks, Sharelife, and other schoolwide charitable initiatives. Yearly mission trips to the Domincan Republic enables students to experience the rewards of outreach and service on a global scale.
