Chaplaincy
Chaplaincy provides pastoral care to students, staff and their families. This Ministry is one of presence, interpretation, prophetic witness and sacrament. Through the work of the Chaplaincy Leader, in collaboration with staff and students, our faith is brought to life.
Recognizing the inherent dignity of each person, and the diversity that our school embraces, Chaplaincy initiatives strive to meet the needs of all in our community as we journey in faith together.
The Loyola chapel is a place of prayer and quiet reflection to all members of the Loyola School community. All staff and students have access to the chapel when they are not in class and when the chapel is not being used for liturgical services. The presence of the Blessed Sacrament in our Chapel is a gift that we acknowledge with reverence.
Retreats are an expectation for each student during each school year. These are reflective of various aspects of our Catholic faith and provide students the opportunity to grow in faith and fellowship through outreach and prayer. Check the Events Calendar for dates that retreats take place.
Students interested in faith leadership are encouraged to join the Chaplaincy Warriors who meet each Tuesday, after school, in the Chapel. For more information, join the Google class with code mrt4o6w.
