Creator God.
We thank you for the precious gift
of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
We ask you to help us to live our lives according to Jesus's teachings,
so as to be worthy of the sacrifice that He made for us.
Thank you for allowing us to live on this bountiful earth,
in this wonderful country and in the caring, loving St. John XXIII school community.
Help us to be responsible stewards of all that You entrust to us.
Help us to be true witnesses of the Good News to all those around us.
Help us to be faithful to the values set out in the Gospels.
Help us to show our love for all people in our thoughts, words and deeds.
We know that all is possible when we trust in You.

 May The Spirit Move Us

Jesus, dear Saviour, we ask you
through the intercession
of St. John XXIII
to open our minds and hearts to the fire of the Holy Spirit.
May the fresh air of love,
understanding, cooperation,
and deep concern for others flow
through us and be so visible in us
that others may come to know you
and to embrace your Way.

May the wind of the Spirit
so move and transform us
that all our minsitry with your people,
whatever form it may take,
will be blessed and guided by you.
Thank you, Jesus for the
great gift of your Holy Spirit.
