May 17th, 2022 - IMPORTANT POSTING! on eLearning 2022-23
Ministry of Education Update for eLearning
On February 1, 2022 the Ministry of Education issued the Policy and Procedures Memorandum (PPM 167) regarding the Online learning graduation requirement.
Beginning with the cohort of students who entered Grade 9 in the 2020-21 school year, all students must earn a minimum of two online learning credits as part of the requirements for an Ontario Secondary School Diploma unless they have been opted out or exempted in accordance with the processes described in the memorandum (PPM167).
Adult learners entering the Ontario secondary school system in 2023-24 or later will also be required to meet this graduation requirement unless they opt themselves out of the requirement in accordance with the processes described in this memorandum.

- What are programs or course deliveries that would not be eligible for the online learning graduation requirement?

IEPs will be sent home by the end of this week to parents’ email, followed by a second email with the password and instructions to access and open the IEP.
Please check your spam email for BOTH emails, as the special education teachers do not have the access to these passwords. Download and print the IEPs for your records. Hard copies will not be sent home.

Goetz very own campus ministry is asking you, our fellow students, to create for the very first time a brand-new logo for campus ministry!
- The themes can include service, prayer, community, multicultural, and many more! Submissions will be open until Friday February 25th.
- The link to the google form can be found on the bio @gatorcampus on Instagram or please scroll down to access it.
- The winner of the contest will be announced, and their logo will become the new logo for campus ministry.
- The winning entry will also receive a prize!

PLASP at Father Michael Goetz
PLASP programs are a safe place for your child to connect, play, and get some energy out!
Our programs:
• Meet the high standards set out by the Ministry of Education
• Adhere to strict COVID-19 safety protocols
• Our staff members are warm, nurturing and caring people who connect well with children, families and the community.
• Are staffed by Registered Early Childhood Educators, as well as members of the Ontario College of Teachers, Child and Youth Workers (CYW) & Child and Youth Practitioners (CYC)
• Accept fee subsidies from the Region of Peel and City of Toronto
Before School programs operate from 7:30 a.m. until school starts and include breakfast daily.
After School programs begin at school dismissal, include a substantial daily snack, and run until 6:00 p.m.
