Peel Public Health is reminding families that all students who are eligible can receive the Human Papillomavirus (HPV-9), Hepatitis B (Hep B), and Meningococcal ACYW-135 vaccines at school, at no cost. Immunization clinic dates will be shared once confirmed. These vaccines will be administered to Grade 7 and 8 students only and will require your consent for your child to receive them during the clinic dates. Visit Peel Region’s website to fill out the consent form and the standard assessment questionnaire to ensure your child receives their vaccine(s) at school. Students who have an existing consent from earlier this school year or previous years, or if parents completed an online or verbal consent, do not need to complete a new consent (unless your consent choice has changed). If you have an immunization record (yellow card), please send a copy of it with the student on the clinic day.
