Consecration at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Brampton

On October 6, over a thousand people gathered at Guardian Angels Catholic Church to witness the consecration and opening of the new Church.

Father Jan spoke about how the Church started in the Chapel of St. Edmund Campion S.S. with only five people.  As the church grew, they moved to the Cafeteria and then to the parish hall.  As I witnessed so many people present at the church yesterday, it was incredible to think that the Church started out with only one priest and five people.  It makes me think of Luke 1:37 that says, "For with God nothing shall be impossible."

As the lights of the Church turned on for the first time, there was a thunderous applause.  People were crying tears of joy because this has been 12 years in the making. It truly was a foretaste of Heaven.
