Book Exchange

  • FDK students will visit the Library Learning Commons weekly.  FDK students will receive a plastic library book bag, please ensure the library book and bag are returned the day before library day.  Little ones are very sad when they are unable to take out a new library book.

  • Students in Grade 1-3 will visit the Library Learning Commons weekly with their class.  Students in Grade 1-3 are allowed 2 books.

  • Grade 4-8 students will visit the Library Learning Commons during Library Open Book Exchange and are allowed to visit anytime.  Students in grade 4-8 are allowed 3 books.

Damaged Books

It is very important that students understand and appreciate the value of a library book. We understand that accidents do happen, and if a book is accidently damaged the student should report the damaged book.

We will attempt to repair it.  However, if the book is damaged beyond use, the student will be asked to replace the book with another book (the same book would be great, but an alternative is welcome as well).  This will apply to lost library books as well.

Please feel free to contact me at 905-542-9203 if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you, Mrs. T. Marano (Teacher-librarian)
