ONTARIO STUDENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a financial aid program that can help you pay for your college or university tuition and other expenses. OSAP is based on financial need and offers funding through grants (money you don't have to pay back) or loans (money you need to repay once you're done school). The amount you receive can be a combination of a grant and/or loan and is based on several factors.
Applications are usually done in the spring. The actual amount of OSAP received is determined after you have accepted on offer to a post-secondary Institution.
