​June 22 – St. Gertrude School Closing

The St. Gertrude School community invites you to participate in the school closing events on Thursday, June 22. There will be an Open House held at St. Gertrude School at 4:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Parish. After Mass we will host a BBQ on the school yard. June 24 - "Recycle my Electronics" Collection Event
Location: St. Joseph Parish, 5440 Durie Road, Mississauga. Time: Noon – 4:00 p.m. There will be trucks in the parish parking lot with volunteers present to collect donations. All proceeds from the Electronic Drive will go to ShareLife. Please see parish website for more details. 

June 28 - St. Catherine of Siena Canada 150th Talent Show

St. Catherine of Siena School students are showcasing their talents and Canada in a talent show to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday on June 28 at 1:30 p.m. in the gym. Singing, dancing, skits, comedy, films and dramatic performances by individual students, groups and classes will be highlighted. Canadian culture and talents inspired all performances and will help our students celebrate Canada. All are welcome! July 4 – August 4 - Focus on Youth Summer Camp for students in Grades 5-8

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Cost: FREE (Healthy Lunch Provided) Location: Ascension of Our Lord Secondary School, 7640 Anaka Drive, Mississauga. Activities include: dance, art, spoken word, music, emceeing, sports activities and faith-based programming. July 4-7 & July 10-14 – Sports/Broadcasting Summer Camp (Philip Pocock C.S.S.)
Philip Pocock Catholic Secondary School is the "place to be" this summer for their Sports/Broadcasting Camp. The camp is open to all Mississauga students entering Grade 7 or 8 in the 2017-18 academic school year. ​ All other students will be placed on a waiting list. Various sports will be profiled and students will learn the basics of animation, motion graphics and video production.  Cost: Week A – July 4-7 is $160 and Week 2 – July 10-14  is $200. Hours: 9:15 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. Registration forms are available through the school secretary or contact Doris Fijan at 905-362-0701 ext. 50016.
