STFXSS: Pre-IB (Grade 9) Application Process
Please download the following package to your computer and only then open it and fill it out by typing in the fields (use this link to open the package):
PRE-IB (Grade 9) PRELIMINARY APPLICATION FORM
The application form is in the pdf (fillable) format. The information on the form MUST be filled out by typing.
Attached a COPY of GRADE 7 end-of-year (final) REPORT CARD.
If your child has an IEP (Individual Education Plan), please attach a copy to the Report Card (IEP details at: http://www.edu.gov.on.ca/eng/general/elemsec/speced/individu.html)
Attach a cheque for the sum of $30.00 payable to St. Francis Xavier Secondary School (fee for the admission test and for the application processing) to the front of the Preliminary Application Form.
Submit (IN PERSON) this Preliminary Application Form together with a copy of Grade 7 Elementary Provincial Report Card (final, with % marks) between 8:00 AM and 2:30 PM to:

Once your preliminary application has been processed, we will post online a Secondary School Admission Test – Upper Level -- session for your child (November 11; Sessions start at 8:30 and will be run every 2.5 hours; one session to be assigned to each student using the PIN created by him/her).
PRIVATE SCHOOLS ONLY:
We will need your child's final Grade 7 Elementary Report Card with percentage marks. If your school does not issue percentage marks, the applicants will be asked to approach their teachers in order to assign a % mark to each subject on:

Also, the applicant's homeroom teacher will be asked to fill out:
Learning Skills and Work Habits Form if the private school uses a different method of learning skills evaluation.
Please note that preliminary application packages may only be delivered in person to our school's Student Services Office (Guidance).

Students from Catholic, public and private schools who reside within the city of Mississauga, north and west of Highway 403 and Highway 410 and north to Highway 407 are eligible to apply to St. Francis Xavier SS Pre-International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
