Dad died when he was 11years old.
Raised by his mom – a pious woman.
Mom taught him to please God in every action, and to fear His judgment more than any man’s.
Set about restoring Justice in France.
Tried to abolish serfdom.
Each day we walked the street distributing alms from his purse.
Never was his job as King to interfere with his spiritual life.
